Chapter 1: Pilot Page 2

"So Trid, what were some things you had to do to be late ON THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE SEASON?"
"Huh-? Oh. Um... It- I, uh, was stuck in traffic."
"What? How? We live, like, a block from the studio. NOBODY DRIVES ONE SINGLE BLOCK."
"I know, but, um, I mean, uh, er, I, um... Oh! I have to go to the restroom. Excuse me."
"I he allowed to do that? And by that I mean... was that in the script?"
"Yeah. It's called improv and we're supposed to go with it. We're just supposed to 'Yes, and' and to do nothing about it."
"What is this preposterously preposterous... thing that is a 'Yes, and'?
"Doing 'Yes, and" is the biggest rule of improv. Improv is when you make something up on the spot."
"So it's like winging it?" "No. Winging it is doing whatever you think goes with a partly written script or something of the nature, and you can say 'no' to what your partner said. Improv is completely making it up, and going along with what your improv partner is saying."
"I think I understand. They are similar to each other, except that in improv, you go with what you playing partner is saying."
"Sounds about right to me. By the way, when's the food coming next?"
"It's a buffet. You can go get more whenever you like."
"Really? Huh. Okay. Bye."
"Finally, he's gone. Can we go back to the Museum after this?"
"Sure. Just let him come back and we'll go back over."
"Thank you! You're the best" :D
